It is the purpose of Bethel Christian Center to obey the commission of Acts 1:8:

"But when the Holy Spirit comes to you, you will receive power. You will be my witnesses -- in Jerusalem, in all of Judea, in Samaria, and in every part of the world."

Bethel’s secondary purpose is to prepare God’s people according to Ephesians 4:12-13:

Christ gave those gifts to prepare God's holy people for the work of serving, to make the body of Christ stronger. This work must continue until we are all joined together in the same faith and in the same knowledge of the Son of God. We must become like a mature person, growing until we become like Christ and have his perfection.

Being a Spirit enpowered church, Bethel is a center for the preparation of God’s people to do "the work of serving."

We exist to preach, teach, and model . . .

~ the uncompromising Word of God to cause believers to mature, "growing until we become like Christ and have his perfection."

~ the Great Commission given by Jesus in Mark 16:15, "Go everywhere in the world, and tell the Good News to everyone."

~ Genuine liberty in praise and worship, both in corporate and individual life.

~ The message of faith, victory, and prosperity available by the "amount of faith God has given you."

~ The supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit spoken of in 1^st Corinthians 12:1-10 so that we can "give them strength, encouragement, and comfort. "(1^st Corinthians 14:3)
